FORGED TO STAND

Act Like Men: Forging Generations

We gathered as brothers—both younger and old,
With stories unfinished and wisdom untold.
As fathers and sons, as mentors and friends,
We came to be forged for the road that extends.

The fire burns brightly; the hammer comes down,
As God shapes our character, calling, and crown.
For men are not fashioned through comfort and ease,
But formed through surrender—down on their knees.

Be watchful, men—stay alert, stay awake;
Guard well every choice and decision you make.
Watch over your heart, your home, and your mind;
Stand ready—leave no wounded brother behind.

Stand firm in the faith when the world starts to sway;
Hold fast to God’s truth when men drift away.
Let conviction run deeper than pressure or fear;
Rooted in Christ, remain faithful and clear.

Act like men—be courageous and true;
Face what is hard and do what you must do.
Not driven by pride, not controlling or loud,
But humble like Jesus, unbent by the crowd.

Be strong, men—endure when the pathway is long;
When burdens press heavily, keep pressing on.
Be faithful in marriage, in fatherhood too;
Let those who come after see Christ lived in you.

Yet strength without love becomes hollow and cold;
A weapon that wounds or a heart growing old.
So let all that you do be accomplished in love—
The strength of the Savior poured down from above.

For manhood is more than the battles we fight;
It’s building with patience and leading with light.
It’s lifting the fallen, forgiving offense,
And guarding our families with courage and strength.

The torch has been carried by men gone before;
Now God places that flame in our hands once more.
We’ll pass on the faith—not in words alone,
But through lives that reveal whose image we own.

So leave here determined, courageous, and true—
There’s Kingdom work waiting that only you can do.
Stay watchful. Stand firmly. Love deeply. Be strong.
Keep forging the generations and passing faith on.

Men, rise to the challenge! Let Christ lead the way.
Be faithful tomorrow—and faithful today.
With hearts set on heaven and God’s Word in our hands,
Let us live, love, and lead—men forged to stand.
