Meeting Focus: Prayer, the Heart of Men’s Ministry

  • One of the simplest and most important things a men’s ministry leader can do is to pray with his men.  Truly prayer is the “heart of men’s ministry”.  It doesn’t require a budget, planning, or much time but can have an eternal impact like nothing else. Together let’s make a difference in the lives of our men… one man at a time!
  • Council members shared testimonies of how prayer has impacted men recently.
  • “The Hand Prayer” was reviewed as a framework for praying with men. It’s simple and powerful!
  • Council members were encouraged to join the Blueprint for Men Prayer Line that meets M-F at 7:00 am ET.
  • Council members were encouraged to pray with at least 3 men in the next 30 days.
  • Council members were encouraged to see the new movie from the Kendrix Brothers called “The Forge”… powerful! Take your men!
  • Council members were encouraged to review past assignments and complete those yet unfinished. This will help your men’s ministry move forward in your church!

March 26 Meeting

Teaching: Knowing Your Men

Summary: Every Man’s Challenge…We are primitive men living in a sophisticated world.

Men’s ministry is an effort to restore men back to the original Blueprint for Men which is simple and pure. This is a call to come out of confusion, all call to come out of Babylon. Men’s ministry is an essential message within the Three Angels Messages of Revelation.

Understanding your men’s specific challenges… ask questions about the following areas of life.

  1. A Man’s Needs and Desires
  2. A Man’s Pains
  3. A Man’s History
  4. A Man’s Daily Life
  5. A Man’s World View

As you get to know your men, you know their needs, and then you can call them to action is specific ways. It’s a challenge and a joy!
