OUR IDENTITY AND PURPOSE:

The Men’s Ministry Leadership Academy is a team of committed men’s ministry leaders who are actively building stronger men of God through building a stronger men’s ministry.

  • The Men’s Ministry Leadership Academy – we are focused on sharpening our men’s ministry leadership skills.
  • Team – we give each other much needed encouragement and accountability.
  • Committed – we have all signed the members commitment document.
  • Men’s Ministry Leaders – church level men’s ministry leaders who are engaged in men’s discipleship.
  • Actively – by being engaged in the men’s discipleship process we walk the talk and lead by example.
  • Building Stronger Men of God – because strong men, build strong families, that build strong churches.
  • Building a Stronger Men’s Ministry – a continual improvement process that seeks to engage all men.

COMMITMENT AGREEMENT:

Attendance

  1. I will make every attempt to attend every meeting except for extenuating circumstances.
  2. I will communicate with the team leader of any situation where I cannot attend.
  3. During the virtual meeting I will have my camera on and stay engaged.

Participation

  1. I will be a source of encouragement to my fellow team members.
  2. I will be teachable and complete assignments on time.
  3. I will not be defensive when fellow team members challenge me.
  4. I will follow through on my commitments.
  5. I will be authentic and transparent in team discussions.

Communication

  1. I will use the group messaging app to communicate.
  2. I will respond to all texts and emails from the council leader.

Education

  1. I will lead a men’s group that meets weekly.
  2. I will complete Every Man A Warrior book 1 (9 lessons)
  3. I will complete Quest for Authentic Manhood (24 lessons)

MEETING OPERATING PROCEDURES:

  1. We will meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month via Zoom from 7:30-8:30 pm.
  2. An agenda will be communicated before each meeting.
  3. Marty Miller, Blueprint for Men president, will lead each meeting.
  4. Communication that is content heavy will be sent by email.
  5. Reminders and urgent messages will be sent by phone, text, and our group app.
